The house was totally in its own juice and outdated. The challenge was to bring it up to date and give it some cachet.

-Insulation of floors and walls and replacement of all windows and doors to put an end to the energy sieve
- Modification of the fuel oil heating system for an air/water heat pump allowing reduced energy consumption

-Picking a wall to reveal the old stone 
-Creation of a clear way railing to bring rhythm and warmth
-Installation of an interior mineral coating on a shear wall to highlight the stones and the old building
