

Renovation of a village house in Saint-Vulbas (01)
Barymo supported this family in the design, choices and completion of the renovation work on this village house located in Saint-Vulbas.
With summers getting hotter in our region, it was necessary to install insulation with excellent phase shift to make the attic more comfortable. Between thermal renovation and transformation of the interior aesthetics, this pretty family home is getting a makeover to provide a cozy setting for its residents.
Technical details:
-Roof insulation with blown cellulose wadding and wood wool for excellent phase shift and creation of a slate roof
-Creation of a false ceiling for the integration of a ceiling extractor hood unit for a hob in “island” installation and creation of the extraction network
-Creation of a custom-made piece of furniture for storing wine bottles in the cellar, incorporating lighting fixtures
Decorative details:
- Laying of blue cabochon tiles, for a touch of originality for a traditional and elegant covering
- Creation of a custom color for the kitchen fronts, matching the blue of the cabochons
-Sandblasting of interior wooden beams to restore their original colors
-Creation of a niche in a partition wall with exposed stones in order to recall the exterior aesthetics and authenticity of this stone village house
